Miss Forgey's Class Blog 2023-2024

 We began our day today with chapel. We learned all about Jesus' power. We learned that He gets His power from God, and through His power we are saved from our sins. We enjoyed some free choice time before snack. In small group today we read the story, The Important Book." It details different things in our lives and why they are important. We had fun in the gym with Mrs. Ericsson's friends today.

 Today we began by reviewing our Bible story, Jesus at the Temple. We also talked about Jesus being God's Son. We enjoyed time in the gym on this rainy Tuesday. During small group today we joined Mrs. Ericsson's friends and met a comfort dog named Naomi. We learned about her job, where she works, how she helps people, and how often she is bathed. We also got to see some of her commands in action. We also had library time today. We loved reading different stories with Mrs. Kohn.

Happy 100th Day of School! We began today with Jesus Time. We are reviewing three different stories. Jesus at the Temple, Jesus being Baptized, and Jesus calms the storm. We enjoyed time in the gym this morning. We had a dance party, played with dodge balls and pool noodles. To celebrate our hundredth day of school we made a 100th day trail mix. We counted all of the ingredients out and counted up to 100. We also talked about the 100 items we brought into school. We had so many unique and fun things to share. We had so much during free choice today as well.
