Miss Forgey's Class Blog 2023-2024

 We have had a fun filled day today.  We began with Jesus Time and finished reviewing our last two Biblical Truths: Jesus Rose from the Dead, and Jesus Sends Me. We had our final time with our fourth grade reading buddies today. We have loved being with them this year. We signed each other's yearbooks today and went outside as well. We also had the opportunity to watch the staff versus 8th grade dodgeball game which is always super fun.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.

   Today we began by reviewing our next Biblical Truth: Jesus Saves Me, and God Sends Us. We also reviewed the story of Palm Sunday: Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey. We got to go outside this morning and enjoy the beautiful sunshine.   For small group today, we played a fun game and painted. Our painting helped us to write letters in the paint and recognize letters. While our game helped us to recognize colors and follow two step directions.

We enjoyed fun fine motor activities on Friday during small group. We created an obstacle course with different classroom supplies as well. We had our last official reading time with our book buddies also.
