Today we began with Jesus Time. We talked about creation and how amazing God is. 

After Jesus time, we had free choice time. 








We also went outside to enjoy the beautiful day.







For small group today we went on a scavenger hunt. We explored different areas around OSLS.

On our way to the creek, we stopped to look at the beautiful butterflies.





The creek was "wet and slippery" when we visited today.

We ran to the musical playground.









We then trekked over to the hill.














Once we were back inside, we sat down and talked about our favorite places that we got to visit. 

We kept track of our favorites by using tally marks.








We finished our morning with some free choice time.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
