 We had a lot of fun today exploring with magnets, reading with our book buddies, playing outside, and talking about our car project.

We also did a shared writing project. We wrote down different items that we thought the magnets would stick to. For instance, the door, cross, and table.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 This morning, we continued to learn about Jesus's promise to return and bring a new heaven and a new earth. We had time with our book buddies also this morning. We had a lot of fun at the walk-a-thon this morning. We were all pretty tired at the end of it. We also had free choice time and worked on a very special project for some very special people in our lives.

 Today we began with Good Friday Chapel. We reflected on the love that Jesus shows us each and every day, but especially as we honor what Jesus did on the cross for us.   During small group we focused on how Jesus gives us new life through His death. We painted crosses and planted grass seed to help us remember that Jesus gives us new life.     We had so much fun outside this morning.
