 Today we began our day with chapel. Pastor Andy taught us about the 10 commandments and why God's Rules are Good.

After chapel we went into the gym. We ran a few races, did some fun animal walks, and played with some gym toys.







For small group today, we made car soup. We had different recipes that involved different colored cars that we had to locate. Once the cars were located, we added them to our soup, and guessed what our soups tasted like.







We also enjoyed free choice time with our friends today.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
