 Today we began our day with Jesus Time. We talked about the ultimate promise that God has given us. That we will someday be in Heaven with Him, all because of Jesus's sacrifice on the cross.

We enjoyed time with our reading buddies this morning.











Due to the rain we went to the gym. We listened and danced to some of our favorite songs and had a pool noodle party.














For small group we talked about what we saw on our field trip. Many friends said ty saw the race cars and the racetrack. Due to these answers we decided to make a racetrack in our classroom. Each friend got a roll of tape and got to help make part of our classes track. This activity worked on fine motor skills (tearing tape) as well as working as a team to meet a goal.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
