Tuesday, October 17th, 2023

 We began today by talking about why God's rules are good, in Jesus Time. We also looked a bit deeper into the 10 commandments, and why they are important for us to follow.

We enjoyed some free choice time with our friends this morning.




We went outside this morning; we loved running around and playing even though it was chilly out. 












                            We also warmed up in the gym for the last little bit of large motor time.





For small group today, we began to plan our car project celebration. We had a lot of really great ideas.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
