 This morning we continued to talk about Jesus's birth on Earth in Jesus Time. We also continued to learn about Jesus our Savior.

We went to the gym this morning, as it was too cold for us to enjoy outside time.








During small group time today, we did 3 different groups. We will rotate through these groups throughout the week. 

Today we had a Lego station as an independent activity. 


Another group focused on the letters in our names. Students would decide which letters are in their name, and which aren't. 



In our last group we focused on identifying and finding letters. Students used paint dobbers to locate letters when were shown a specific letter picture.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
