 This morning we began reviewing our two Bible stories that we have been studying: The 10 commandments and Jesus forgiving our sins.

We enjoyed time outside this morning.











For small group we read the story "The Little Yellow Leaf." This story encompasses the idea that it okay to feel scared about new experiences. 

We also went on a leaf hunt today. We enjoyed finding different types of leaves and playing in the leaves with our friends.






















When we got back to our room we drew in our journals. We drew our experiences from our leaf hunt and playing in the leaves.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
