 We started our day today with chapel. Pastor Andy talked to us about the law and Gospel, as well as forgiveness. We know that can't obey all 600 laws in the Bible, but we also know that we will be forgiven thanks to Jesus's sacrifice on the cross.


We had book buddies today. We enjoyed going to the 4th graders classroom to read.






For small group we did some letter assessments and free choice due to shorter amount of time.


We also went outside with Mrs. Ericsson's class.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
