This morning we continued to talk about Jesus saving us from our sins.  We talked about why we are forgiven, and who forgives us.

We enjoyed free choice time this morning.







Two other early education classes had their celebrations for their projects today. Mrs. Baldwin's friends had their apple project celebration, and Mrs. Helmkamp's friends had their frog project celebration. We enjoyed celebrating with them.









For small group today we worked on counting, measuring, and patterns.









We had some independent reading time, before we went to the gym.


We once again enjoyed our gym time with Mrs. Ericsson's friends.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
