Tuesday, December 19th, 2023

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. Today we reviewed the angels visiting the shepherds in the fields keeping watch over their flocks. The angels sang praises and told the shepherds to visit baby Jesus.

For our small group time, our book buddies came in and joined us. They read several books to us before we went down to practice for our program tonight.










After our practice we enjoyed some free choice time.







We went into the gym and played with Mrs. Ericsson's friends.




We also had fun in the library today.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 This morning, we continued to learn about Jesus's promise to return and bring a new heaven and a new earth. We had time with our book buddies also this morning. We had a lot of fun at the walk-a-thon this morning. We were all pretty tired at the end of it. We also had free choice time and worked on a very special project for some very special people in our lives.

 Today we began with Good Friday Chapel. We reflected on the love that Jesus shows us each and every day, but especially as we honor what Jesus did on the cross for us.   During small group we focused on how Jesus gives us new life through His death. We painted crosses and planted grass seed to help us remember that Jesus gives us new life.     We had so much fun outside this morning.
