 Today we continued to talk about the wisemen's visit to Jesus. We also reviewed our song for the Christmas program, "Go Tell It on the Mountain."

Due to the rain we went to the gym. We ran a few relay races and worked on listening and working as a team. We also enjoyed playing basketball, and dancing.






In small group today, we had 3 different stations that we will work on throughout this week.

Our first station was working with trial and error, in observing and exploring sinking and floating. We used different everyday objects that we tested to see if they sunk to the bottom or floated on the top.

Our second station worked with letters. We used whiteboards to practice the proper formation of letters.

 



We also enjoyed library time today with Mrs. Kohn.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
