 We started our day today with Chapel. We continued to learn that Jesus is God's Son. We also talked about Jesus' visit to the temple and how He learned and taught with the priests.

We enjoyed time outside today. It was a bit cold but the sun decided to come out right when we walked out.




For small group today we had two groups. Our first group read a story about different types of buildings with Miss Forgey. Our story was called Dreaming Up. After we read our story we mapped out different questions and things related to building.



In our second group with Mrs. Carney, we used some new building materials. We had so much fun creating.








We also have two new sections in our classroom, we have a new kitchen section, and a new doctor section. We are trying to add new things to our classroom to find our next project topic, and what sparks our interests.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
