 This morning we continued to learn about Jesus calming the storm. We also talked about fear and what fear is, just as the disciples in the boat were fearful of the storm.

We enjoyed time in the gym this morning. 






In small group today, we learned about another community helper, the veterinarian. We still have quite the fascination with pets and animals.

After we read our story, we sketched what we thought a veterinarian would look like.








We also had library time this morning. We love getting to check out books from the library.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
