 This week in Jesus Time we are learning that Jesus is God's Son. We are learning about Jesus at the Temple teaching the priests. We also learned that you can teach at any age. Jesus was teaching the priests at the temple when he was only 12 years old.

We enjoyed time in the gym on this rainy, dreary day.







We were very tired from running around.

In small group today we had two different groups. One group worked with Mrs. Carney on recognizing patterns and finding similar shapes.


The other group with worked with Miss. Forgey. We worked on counting and seeing the different ways that a number can shown. Whether it is dots, numerals, or dashes.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
