 Today we began our day with chapel. We enjoyed listening to DCE Meyer telling us all about Jesus's Baptism and how he forgives our sins every day when we repent.


We once again enjoyed time in the gym. For the first part of our gym time we enjoyed some free play. Towards the end of our time in the gym we enjoyed a game of musical dots (musical chairs). We love playing with our friends.






In small group today we stayed as a large group. We read a story that was all about community and the helpers within the community. We also made a list of different helpers in our community.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
