Today in Jesus Time we continued to talk about young Jesus teaching at the temple.

We had a lot of fun during free choice time today.



In the gym this morning we had a dance party, and a pool noodle party.







During small group today we did some science experiments. In our first science experiment we mad bubbles with corn syrup, water and dish soap. We loved mixing and observing what was happening.





In our second experiment we made fireworks in a jar. We used shaving cream, water, corn syrup, and food coloring to make fireworks that would show up in the jar.





After our experiments we drew our observations.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
