 Today we began our day with Jesus Time. We talked about how God keeps us safe, just as Jesus kept his disciples safe when He calmed the storm. 

We did an experiment involving tin foil , water and paper today. We began with water and paper. We noticed that the water was making the paper sink. We talked about how we are the paper without the forgiveness of sins, sinking in the water. But when we have Jesus (tin foil) we don't sink we stay afloat in Jesus love and forgiveness.




Today we read a story about fire safety, as we had a surprise fire drill a few days ago. We decided to talk a bit more about it today. We practiced stop, drop, and roll.



We also started to make some questions for our possible project topic of veterinarians.

We also enjoyed time in the gym today with Mrs. Ericsson's friends.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
