 Today we began our day with Jesus Time. Our new story is about Jesus blessing the children. We are still talking about our Biblical Truth: Jesus Loves Sinners.

We enjoyed time outside this morning. It was a beautiful day today even though it was a bit cold.







In an effort to warm up from being outside we went in the gym and had a dance party.



During small group today three different groups worked together to make an out of different supplies. 

One group had foam shapes.


One group had crinkled paper.


The last group had toothpicks.


Our other activity today, involved cutting, gluing, and coloring. My friends were handed out a sheet of paper with multiple hearts, they had to cut them out, color them and glue them onto a sheet of paper. You can our beautiful artwork in the hallway tomorrow morning.







We also loved having our free choice time.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
