Monday, March 25th, 2024

 Today we began with Jesus Time. We talked about Palm Sunday and Easter. We reviewed what sin is and why we need Jesus to save us.

We also took time to look around the Sanctuary today. We counted the crosses and found out we have around 10 crosses in the sanctuary.



We enjoyed time on the hill this morning. It was a nice change of scenery.








During small group today we worked on an art project. We painted popsicle sticks, that we will eventually glue together to create a cross canvas.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
