 Today we began our day with Jesus Time. This week we have been focusing on God's promises to us, and that He will always keep His promises to us.

We had our 4th grade book buddies join us again today. We love having these friends come in and read to us.







We enjoyed God's beautiful creation today when we went outside and played. We had fun on the swings and playing tag.








For small group we worked on rotations. We worked on small motor skills, with Legos, discs, and stem connectors. By having open ended play, like rotations, students have the ability and opportunity to explore, collaborate and create independently. These opportunities allow students to grow and use vital skills as they develop.











We also enjoyed free choice time today.

 We have had a fantastic first day of school. This morning we worked on our fine motor drawers and did our morning meeting and Jesus Time. We also began learning all of our friends' names. We had chapel today as well. We learned how God is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we are connected to Jesus and the word, we will be able to do anything that is put in front of us.

 Today we began with Jesus Time once again. We reviewed the story of Jesus dying on the cross, and how our sins were washed away by His sacrifice.  We also worked together to build a cross with blocks. We learned about all of our special places in Jesus' family, and how when we work together it makes Jesus happy. We had so much fun outside this morning. We played tag, duck-duck- goose and had a blast on the swings. We also went on a scavenger hunt today to find different materials to make a collage tomorrow. We also had our last library time of the year today.
