Today we began with Jesus Time. We reviewed the biblical truths that we have learned so far: God's Word is True, God Created Everything, and We Need a Savior.
We enjoyed some free choice time. We played with cars, blocks, and trains. Our friends love playing together and sharing different experiences.
We enjoyed some outside time as well. While we were outside, friends took turns playing on the swings and doing the monkey bars.
For small group time we did several different activities. Our first activity involved stacking wooden beads onto a wooden dowl. Because every child grows and develops at different rates, students did this activity in different ways. Some students stacked 4 beads, while others stacked 15. Each student's success was different. Another activity we did, involved using letter stamps to spell out student's names. Some students were able to immediately find the letters in their name and spell, while others needed a little bit of assistance. This is okay. Students are all at different ages, but they can all have success in everything they do. Students are capable of great things at every level they pass through. We want to provide them with assistance and assure that they have success even when their success is different from another students.
We also enjoyed some time in the library today.
